Gin Mare rooftop gin bar opening in London this summer

A free pop-up gin bar will open in London this summer, when Spanish gin brand Gin Mare arrives in the capital. On 20 and 21 July, the brand will be bringing the ?finest elements of the Mediterranean lifestyle? to the city as part of its Med Rooftops series. It comes after Gin Mare launched this gin and tonic ice-cream bar in June and judging by the Instagram pictures from the previous rooftop events elsewhere in Europe, it looks likes it could be a hit with Londoners after-work.

Guests will be able to choose from Mediterranean-inspired cocktails including the classic Mare G&T served with a slice of mango and Perfect Martini paired with a strawberry garnish. On the food front, there'll be a summery menu of fresh Mediterranean tapas and oysters dressed with gin to go with the cocktails. And best of all, they're free! Each guest that is granted entrance will be given an allocation of four drinks as well as canapés and oysters if they wish, the event organisers have told Cosmopolitan.

The event is being held on the rooftop of the IET London on Savoy Place next to the Thames, so those attending can also enjoy their drinks with a panoramic river view.
